The Kermit program for UNIX is C-Kermit 6.0. It is not a terminal emulator.
It is a "semitransparent communications pipe" between your terminal, or
terminal emulator, or terminal window (e.g. xterm), or console, and the
computer or service you have connected to. So if you are accessing your UNIX
system through a Wyse 50 emulator (such as MS-DOS Kermit or Kermit 95 or
Kermit/2), that's how you get Wyse 50 emulation on the remote host.
Otherwyse you'll need some kind of Wyse-50-compatible replacement for your
xterm window or console driver, but the availability of such a thing is
(a) dependent on your exact UNIX hardware and software platform, and (b)
unknown to us in any case.
